The US Marshals Service (USMS) suffered a ransomware safety breach this month that compromised delicate regulation enforcement info, a spokesman mentioned.
The Marshals Service notified the US Division of Justice to the breach, and brokers there started a forensic investigation, Drew Wade, chief of the Marshals Service public affairs workplace, instructed Reuters in an electronic mail.
